Want to design and produce a high quality video game with absolutely no technical knowledge about how to do it? No problem.

Follow along as one man teaches himself (almost) every aspect of video game design from scratch and eventually produces a playable 3d game demo.

Yes, I'm still here.

Remember that post about how I often change my mind to help a project? How I make more work for myself in order to do something right?

Well, that's what's up now. I am still very much on this project. Maybe even more so than before. Only, I'm taking a slightly more circuitous route. I'm doing a lot of background design right now- rules that the player will interface with, etc. I'm killing two birds with one stone too. This work regards a pen and paper fantasy game I'm writing called Tribute, which will be the underlying structure (the rules the player sees) for my work with this video game and the Mystic Space setting in general. They will be interlinked, so any work I do one either applies to both aspects.

I'm very happy with how it's all turning out. I have a friend in publishing (who will remain nameless unless he decides not to), and we're planning to bring Mystic Space and other properties to market with Tribute as our house system.

So, I'm still going. Still pulling all-nighters on the project, just planning more than I had been. Doing stuff right is HARD. :D
